Age Limit:- The age of the candidate will be according to rules and regulation of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) organization.

Qualification:- Candidates should have graduation from a recognized university / institute.

Selection Procedure:- The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Experience:- Candidates should be retired officer of the Central police / state police forces of the rank of Inspector or above with 10 year of experience in Investigation and prosecution of Criminal cases in the court of Law are eligible for appointment to the above mentioned position

General Instruction:-

• Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is looking for retired and serving police officers of the rank of Inspector and above for appointment as Inspector on contractual for one year.
• This contract is for one year or till the filling up of these vacancies either by promotion or by deputation, which-ever is earlier at a consolidated remuneration not exceeding Rs 40000/- Per Month.
• The person engaged shall have to right to claim regularization / absorption in the organization after the expiry of period of contract.
• The retired officer of the Central police / state police forces of the rank of Inspector or above with 10 year of experience in Investigation and prosecution of Criminal cases in the court of Law are eligible for appointment to the above mentioned position.
